Design Scorecard can be used to document the current status of the project CTQs. Design Scorecards are typically used in a Design for Six Sigma project to document the most important CTQs and whether we can meet the requirements.
This tool can be added to your active workbook by clicking on Project and then selecting Design Scorecard.
Inputs
Click on Analysis Setup to open the menu options for this tool.
Setup
A sample screenshot of the setup menu is shown below.

Num Metrics:
Specify the number of metrics you want to display on the design scorecard. This information will be used to format the worksheet. The number of metrics dictates the number of rows on your worksheet.

Highlight Rows:
In this dialog box, specify how you want to highlight the rows. You can avoid highlighting any rows or specify that you want to highlight those rows that either meet the goal or do not meet the goal.

View Example:
Click on this button to open the example file. You can view the example to get an idea of how to fill out this tool or you can use the example as a starting point and modify it to meet your project needs.

Help Button:
Click on this button to open the help file on this topic.

Cancel Button:
Click on this button to exit without saving any changes.

OK Button:
Click on this button to save changes and update your analysis results.
Worksheet
Enter the following information in the worksheet:
Enter the information for critical CTQs, the capability metric (Cpk, Sigma Level, or DPMO), the goal for the process capability metric.
As information becomes available, enter the predicted capability (typically during the design and optimize phase of a DFSS project), or the measured capability (typically during the Verify phase of the DFSS project).
Verify
If you click on the Verify button, the software will perform some checks on the data you have entered. A sample screenshot of the dialog box is shown in the figure below.
The objective of this analysis as well as any checks that are performed is listed in this dialog box. For example, the software may check if you have correctly specified the input options and entered the required data on the worksheet. The results of the analysis checks are listed on the right. If the checks are passed, then they are shown as a green-colored checkmark. If the verification checks fail, then they are shown as a red-colored cross. If the verification checks result in a warning, they are shown in the orange color exclamation mark and finally, any checks that are required to be performed by the user are shown as blue info icons.
Outputs
Click on Compute Outputs to update the output calculations. A sample screenshot of the worksheet is shown below.
The Goal Met column highlights if the goal for a given CTQ has been met. The comments area will highlight the number of CTQs that meet the goal.
Notes
Here are a few pointers regarding this analysis:
This worksheet does not use the 1.5 Sigma Shift. Instead, you can specify if your Sigma Level is measured Short Term or Long Term.
